Instagram: Learning to live gently

I’ve been comforting myself with some early morning tea and drawing in readiness for a dentist appointment first thing this morning.

Morning tea is always an important part of my day, but today it feels especially so.

Wishing you some comfort
I was very excited to receive a new pen in the post — a Kaweco Sport with a double broad nib — but I’ve been struggling with its juicy, thick lines.

For inspiration, I’ve been watching some of @koosjekoene’s excellent D
I’m not sleeping too well at the moment and have been waking early, so I’m very appreciative that Bailey is coming to sit with me and keep me company in the early hours.

Ounce is staying in the kitchen, curled up with Tabitha — the
I’m using beautiful Bailey to help distract from the fact that I can’t get a decent photo of today’s tea-tray drawing.

It’s oddly shiny, which means the text isn’t very readable in a photograph. I’ve included some
