It's time to say goodbye to Gladstone's Library and in today's podcast, you find me sitting in a beautiful chair in the grounds of the library thinking about my visit and musing about my plans for the twelve months ahead.
With special thanks to Jean, the library chaplain, for creating such a beautiful and peaceful hidden corner of the grounds and for thinking to put a chair there!
On my penultimate morning here at Gladstone's Library, I find myself thinking about the supportive (and largely effortless) routines that are here in The Library, and that helps me get some daily creative work done, and I muse a little about whether I could find some ways to replicate this supportive structure at home.
As I get back to my normal work routine after my six weeks of summer holiday and semi-holiday, I talk about how I hope I'm going to be able to keep media in its place, using it as a treat rather than a distraction.
In the letter I share a little about my ongoing journey exploring ways to live and create gently. I hope the letter will encourage and inspire you to find ways ways to live and create at the pace that's right for you.
