#1052: Not every twenty minutes will go smoothly!

Timer and tea

I've been having a lovely pyjama day today, pottering around, baking and doing a little work. The day has felt that it's been flowing rather smoothly.

Unfortunately, that sense of flow didn't extend to my twenty minutes of work during today's podcast. Never mind, not every twenty minutes can go a smoothly as we would like.

If you're joining me for a little work today, I hope you have more success than I did :-)

#1051: Accepting that things take as long as they take

Timer and tea

Today has been a VERY slow day and I've spent quite a lot of it feeling cold and frustrated, but I've been reminded this afternoon that life feels a whole lot easier if we can accept that sometimes things just move more slowly than we might like!

Would you like to join me for twenty minutes of SLOW creative work today?

#1050: The spaciousness of slowing down and doing less

Timer and tea

In today's podcast I talking about how slowing down, now that it feels as though winter has arrived, is making me think even more than usual about the importance of celebrating the small steps we take each day.

Doing less doesn't need to feel like a loss, instead, it can be an opportunity delve deeper into the things we choose to focus on and can help us discover a welcome sense of spaciousness.
