#950: Pausing and self-care

Restarting my qigong habit during my recent visit to Gladstone's Library has taught me a lot about pausing and self-care. I'm finding what I'm learning is expanding beyond my daily qigong practice and is beginning to affect my wider life.

In today's podcast, I'm talking about how this better understanding of the need to pause and look after myself before I need to has prompted me to take a holiday next week.

I enjoyed making this morning’s tea-tray drawing. Yesterday I drew it in the dark (not a drawing I felt able to share!), but I wanted to experiment again today. In the very early dawn light, I could just make out the familiar shapes on the tra
